"Canadian Brass put on an outstanding show!! The smaller venue to see her was really special and very cool when compared to the larger venues in Charlotte. She was amazing.
Feedback notes for the venue:
1- spectators are required to bring a specific type of low back chair, low to the ground if you want a seat for your lawn. It doesn’t matter at all if everyone stands up in front of you for the entire show. The.entire.show.
2- I’m carrying food for my wife and me back to our seats and two large beer cans, and the concessions people inform me that I can’t walk away with my can unless they open it??? So now I have to balance food and open beverages back to my seat. Please consider changing this policy. I just don’t understand it.
3- We didn’t have any children with us, but several people in the audience did. Given the nature of the act that night, Canadian Brass, please consider that there are young fans/ears in the crowd when selecting the pre-show music. I love hip-hop, but for 30 mins or more, some fairly explicit music was played over the sound system before Alicia’s opening act came on. Many parents who had brought their kids could be seen to be really bothered and uncomfortable by this. Please do better."
